Vidavo is a research driven SME active in eHealth and the Silver Economy. The main focus of the company is the chronic patient and the ageing population. Vidavo’s technical team consists of highly acclaimed engineers of various disciplines specialising in biomedical technology and eHealth. Its human capital includes also experienced professionals in telemedicine applications, business development and health processing information systems. Vidavo has extensive experience in implementing health care and social care ICT projects and in the development of sound business cases of novel sustainabe ICT supported care services.

Pantelis Angelidis is an innovator entrepreneur. A Telecommunications Engineering by education, a graduate of ECE@AUTH, he is active in telemedicine and Digital Health for 20+ years. He is the founder of VIDAVO and he has patented four telemedicine devices. Dr. Angelidis was a visiting professor of MIT Media Lab in 2009-10 and in 2014-15. He is an Ass. Prof. on eHealth at UOWM and a visiting lecturer at UB Medical School. He has led over 20 multinational research projects and serves as an expert for the EC. He is a Marshall Memorial fellow and an alumni of the Bodosaki foundation. His main interest lies in turning research results into sustainable businesses focusing on technologies for preventive health and active ageing.
